Elijah Project with Washington Hebrew
Washington Hebrew Congregation continues its rich heritage in being at the forefront of Tikun Olam – Repairing the World. Washington Hebrew and Rabbi Bruce Lustig have raised the funds and have the supplies to make 50,000 meals. Now they need your help! Join fellow congregants to work together in this exciting project where 100 volunteers can generate 16,000 vegetarian meals in as little as an hour! Project Elijah’s Kosher Manna is a nutritious vegetarian food product made from soy protein, pasta, dehydrated vegetables, and a vitamin/mineral flavoring mix. This product has been evaluated and approved by the Food Science and Human Nutrition Department of Iowa State University. Wet and Wild: The Bnai Mitzvah of Chandler and Tyler
The dry part of the festivities began at the Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. The Bnai Mitzvah ceremony took place outside on the back terrace of the club on a absolutely beautiful Saturday afternoon. After the ceremony, people adjourned to the Main Ballroom, which had been transformed into the 530 club. Everything was white, from the carpet to the white leather seating. It truly was the place to be. After the 3 hr party in the main ballroom, everyone got into their bathing suites and dove into the final stage of the celebration…the pool party! With fire pits, cabanas, smores and a DJ, this party definitely made a splash. Patty, Stacy, Taylor and Melissa from Plan-it Parties beautifully orchestrated everything. Special thanks goes to David Depas (Photographers Gallery) and Talk of the Town for all of their hard work. Lastly, a special thanks to our client for raising such wonderful kids.
Sam’s 60th Birthday Party
Turning 60 years old is quite a milestone in a person’s life and what better way to celebrate than to have all of your closest friends together for a flashback party to the 1970’s. I’m not sure even John Travolta could have kept up with this group as they danced the night away on a replica dance floor from Saturday Night Fever. Even the birthday cake was modeled after a discoball. All night the DJ kept the party rollin by playing all the disco hits from the 70’s. Everything was beautifully orchestrated by Sandy Hoffman of Sandy Hoffman Events. Photography was by Robert Isacson of Robert Isacson Photography. And special thanks to Amal from the Park Hyatt Washington DC.

The film debuted on our large screen just before they were introduced as husband and wife. They received a standing ovation from all of their guests. We had as much fun as they did!

Inquiries came from all over the world, as far away as the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and Canada. The viral impact from people seeing this all over the world has been overwhelming!
The background for this Persian wedding was the Crystal Room at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington, DC. Bill Bowen and Cara Bowen filmed in high definition the story of the bridal couple’s day in dramatic cinematic style. The fabulous ceremony sofreh and party décor was provided by Patrice Golesorkhi of Exclusively Events. Len DePas of Photographer’s Gallery took breathtaking photographs. The reception was held in Willard’s ballroom and featured dramatic lighting and ethnic music by the famous Davood Behboodi that kept the party hopping all night.
